Not all buildings and facilities have fire and security equipment less than 10 years old. This being most manufacturers' ideal replacement cycle and to be fair to them, it can be difficult to buy some components and semiconductors on the world market for more than 10 years.

We have operated a repair facility for some 25 years and can often achieve a fix to component level, even on 20 year old systems. Our first response is often, we can repair it; others may well offer replacement as a first option.
